Hiii everyone,
I would like to introduce myself!! I’m Soraya, born and currently living in Japan, and I’m still learning English, so please bear (kuma? w) with me. In my free time, I like hanging out in cafés and streaming games such as JRPGs and mahjong.
I recently joined Koito’s company part-time as a DigITal Engineer, and for now I’ll be reporting directly to Koito. My job will be to help improve and develop both existing and new websites. MAL-Badges as an existing website and MiraiList as a new platform!
The website is already in a good place, but there are several things we can improve, like adding Cloudflare, shutting down the old server, updating and cleaning up the codebase, making the site more resilient, fixing NotFound accounts, and updating the FAQ since profiles now update automatically. And of course, anything else that comes up along the way.
When it comes to MAL-Badges, nothing operational will change. There will be no paid ads and we will also not discontinue the service. We still want to develop it further. MAL-Badges will continue to exist as long as MyAnimeList allows it.
Looking forward to working on the site and gaining more badges together.
